Fairtrade fights for the planet

Smallholder farmers and rural communities have contributed the least to climate change and are often affected the most. Changing weather patterns, diseases, pest, soil erosion, decreasing yields and income loss are just a few of the devastating impact already being experienced by producers. Fairtrade provides critical pricing stability and support so that farmers can adapt to and mitigate the effects of the climate crisis. On top of that Fairtrade farmers commit to long-term soil & watershed management, GMO-free seeds, sustainable production, minimal use of agrochemicals and biodiversity protection

How does it work?

Your licensing fee

You earn 1% for the Planet certification by contributing 1% of your annual sales to environmental causes. Because we are an official partner, 100% of your licensing fees can go towards your commitment. You can use your quarterly invoice to prove your contribution so there is no extra paperwork needed from us!

Other donations count

Fairtrade does not accept direct donations because we want to spend all of our time increasing market access for farmers and workers in the Global South. So if your licensing fee does not meet the 1% commitment, you get the awesome opportunity of contributing to another worthy cause.
