Brazil Coopfam

Coopfam was founded as an association of family farmers in 1998. Today they are one of the largest smallholder producer cooperatives in Brazil supporting over 800 families. Coopfam specializes in producing high quality, Fairtrade coffee, supporting women-grown coffee and specialty microlots. Their community development projects have included general education, English language learning, improving agricultural practices and farming assistance.
